    The Problem Based Learning (PBL)-Based Entrepreneurship Learning Model Development to Improve the Life Skills of the Teacher Training Students in Private Universities throughout Solo Raya

    Purpose – This research aims at providing a PBL-based Entrepreneurship learning model to improve the student life skills in Private Faculties of Teacher Training and Educationin Solo Raya. Method – This research was a “research and development”. The research and development model consists of three steps: preliminary study, model development, and model testing. The research study stage employed a qualitative research; techniques of collecting data used were observation, interview, and content analysis and archive, while the data validation was done using data (source), method and theory triangulations, and informant review; data analysis was done using an interactive model of analysis. Findings – The implementation of life skills education in FKIP of UNISRI was not based on specific curriculum yet; the curriculum is integrated into all courses existing in the Study Program. The life skill content of each course is different but proportional and consistent with the characteristics of the course. Life skill education was given to the students in terms of the thinking and working skill, knowledge, and attitude the students to prepare themselves as independent members of society. Significance – The Problem Based Learning (PBL)-Based Entrepreneurship learning model development could improve the life skills of the private Teacher Training and Education Faculty’s Students throughout Solo Raya

    MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL MELALUI METODE EXPLICIT INTRUCTION

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kamampuan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial melalui metode Explicit Intruction pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Ngadiluwih, Kecamatan Matesih, Kabupaten Karanganyar semester II tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penerima tindakan adalah siswa kelas V SDN 01 Ngadiluwih, Kecamatan Matesih Kabupaten Karanganyar semester II tahun pelajaran 2010/2011 yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan model alir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada siswa kelas V SDN 01 Ngadiluwih Kecamatan Matesih Kabupaten Karanganyar melalui metode Explicit Intruction. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial sebelum siklus rata-rata nilai 63, dan siklus I dengan rata-rata nilai 67, siklus II dengan rata-rata nilai 74, dan siklus III dengan rata-rata niali 82. Dilihat dari hasil tersebut maka penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode Explicit Intruction dalam pembelajaran pada siswa kelas V SDN 01 Ngadiluwih Kecamatan Matesih Kabupaten Karanganyar semester II tahun pelajaran 2010/2011. Dengan demikian dalam penelitian ini setiap siklus selalu mengalami peningkatan prestasi secara signifikan, sehingga penelitian ini dapat diterima

    THE THINKING TRAJECTORY PROFILE OF STUDENTS TO PROVE THEOREM IN REAL ANALYSIS SUBJECT

    This study is a descriptive study aimed to describe students’ thinking trajectory inNproving theorem within real analysis I course. The subjects of this study are two students, man and woman who both have high academic ability based on GPA for courses in mathematics. The research instrument consists of researcher, interview sheet, interview guides and student worksheet that contains proving theorem. In this research the data analysis technique are data pruning, data presenting and conclusing. From the data analysis, it is obtained that the there is different thinking trajectory from the male andfemale subjects. The male student’s thinking trajectory: 1) At the information input stage, the subject understands well what is known and what will be proved, 2) at the informationprocessing stage, the subject is able to construct the proving steps correctly, the subject uses the definition available before, 3) within the information output step, the subject does not recheck the steps that he has written down, the subject gives answer illustration through pictures but he faces difficulty in explaining the picture. Female subject’s thinking trajectory : 1) at the information input stage, the subject understands well and she is able to write what is known and what is will be proved correctly, 2) at the stage of information processing, the subjects writes long and coherent steps , but there is a concept that has not been understood well , in constructing the proof, she does not use the existing definition, 3) at the information output stage, the subject re-checks the evidentiary steps which she writes previously, subject give answers with pictures and illustrations which she can explain well

Continuing professional developmentis the development of teacher competenciesare implemented according tothe needs, gradual, sustained to enhance professionalism. This activities can be done through education and training or through collective functional teacher. Therefore, the teachers of Mathematics, Science and ICT in SMP Negeri 1 Subang need to improve their competencies in English so that the schools provide the program of professional development for them.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri serta kemampuan pemecahan  masalah  mahasiswa  prodi  pendidikan  matematika  pada  mata  kuliah matematika  diskrit.  Mata  kuliah  Matematika  Diskrit  lebih  banyak  berisi  penerapan pemecahan  masalah,  akan  tetapi  pada  kenyataannya  kemampuan  mahasiswa  dalam memecahkan  masalah  masih  kurang,  selain  itu  subjek  dalam  penelitian  ini  yaitu mahasiswa  semester  empat  tahun  akademik  2014/2015  prodi  Pendidikan  Matematika mempunyai  kepercayaan  diri  yang  rendah,  terutama  dalam  memecahkan  masalah matematika yang lebih kompleks, sehingga diperlukan desain pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan  kepercayaan  diri  serta  kemampuan  mahasiswa  dalam  memecahkan masalah.  Jenis  penelitian  ini  adalah  PTK  (Penelitian  Tindakan  Kelas)  dengan  5  siklus melalui  kegiatan  Lesson  Study.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  pembelajaran  discovery learning mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa

    The problem that underpins the program to develop e-learning content development using Google Classroom for teachers of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas is the fact that the gap between Muhammadiyah schools in Gresik is quite sharp. The purpose of this community service is to improve the competency of teachers in the development of teaching materials using Google Classroom as one of the learning innovations for teachers in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas Gresik. The implementation of the program as a realization of problem-solving materialized in periodic and scheduled activities through strengthening the concept of e-learning learning using Google Classroom, followed by the needs Analysis Workshop, e-learning system design Workshop using Google Classroom, e-learning content development Workshop using Google Classroom, Upload the development results to the system LMS In the implementation stage using the Lesson Study steps as many as two cycles. The methods used in the implementation of this activity are by process of discussion, workshop, and practice directly in the classroom.     Pengembangan aplikasi berbasis android sangat berkembang pesat akhir-akhir ini, lebih dari 96% masyarakat Indonesia menggunakan smartphone android. Sedangkan di dunia, lebih dari 80% dari 104 negara menunjukkan bahwa kaum muda menggunakan smartphone android. Permasalahan pembelajaran Aljabar abstrak di Indonesia adalah kurangnya media pembelajaran untuk bidang aljabar abstrak, yang salah satunya adalah Teori Ring. Media pembelajaran untuk mata kuliah Teori Ring selama ini masih sangat terbatas. Dalam penelitian ini, kami mengembangkan Teori Ring Mobile Application yang merupakan media pembelajaran Teori Ring berbasis android. Hasil validasi media yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli media, dan validasi oleh pengguna, keseluruhan menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Selanjutnya kontribusi media ini dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas pembelajaran dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ini memiliki tingkat aksesibilitas yang tinggi

    Peranan Jamur Mikoriza Arbuskular terhadap Perkembangan Penyakit Daun Keriting Kuning Cabai

    Pepper yellow leaf curl disease caused by Begomovirus is a very important disease in chili plantation. The use of pesticides to control this disease has not yielded satisfactory results, so this study aimed to use arbuscular mycorrhiza fungus (AMF), to control curly leaf yellow disease of chili peppers. Pepper seeds were inoculated with AMF, i.e., T0 = seeds without AMF inoculation, T1 = seedlings inoculated with AMF at nursery, T2 = seedlings inoculated with AMF at transplanting, and T3 = seedlings inoculated with AMF at nursery and transplanting. Parameters observed every week were disease intensity and infection rate of yellow leaf curl disease. Results indicated that inoculation of AMF could delay Begomovirus infections and symptoms emergence of pepper yellow leaf curl disease. INTISARIPenyakit daun keriting kuning cabai disebabkan Begomovirus merupakan salah satu penyakit penting pada pertanaman cabai. Upaya pengendalian dengan menggunakan pestisida belum memberikan hasil yang memuaskan, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan Jamur Mikoriza Arbuskular (JMA) dalam mengendalikan penyakit daun keriting kuning pada cabai. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menginokulasi bibit cabai menggunakan JMA dengan perlakuan T0= bibit tanpa inokulasi JMA, T1= bibit diinokulasi pada saat pembibitan, T2= bibit diinokulasi pada saat pindah tanam ke lahan pertanaman cabai, dan T3= bibit diinokulasi pada saat pembibitan dan pada saat pindah tanam ke lahan pertanaman cabai. Pengamatan dilakukan setiap satu minggu sekali dengan parameter pengamatan meliputi intensitas penyakit dan laju infeksi penyakit daun keriting kuning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemunculan gejala penyakit daun keriting kuning cabai pada bibit yang diinokulasi dengan JMA lebih lambat dibandingkan bibit yang tidak diinokulasi dengan JMA

    Analysis of Student Misconseptions Using Evaluation Tools Based Three Tier Multiple Choice

    The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the types of students' misconceptions on the geometry material of the quadrilateral sub-material. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were students of class VII SMPN 5 Lamongan as many as 120 students. The research instrument used was a three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test sheet. The result of the research is that 56.2% of students have misconceptions about the quadrilateral material, including the category of moderate misconceptions. From these misconceptions, the types of misconceptions are grouped into classificational misconceptions by 15%, correlational misconceptions by 19.1%, and theoretical misconceptions by 22.1%
